Practice and all is coming. K Pattabhi Jois.
When we roll up the mat, the practice does not end.
In fact, it begins.
In Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, the first and second limbs or paths to obtaining yoga (union) are the Yamas (social observances) and Niyamas (personal observances). Without making space for harmony to flourish in your inner world and social life, achieving balance and union will be unobtainable.
Whilst practice on the mat gives us means, opportunity to nurture our yoga-asana and connect to the breath, it is also the place where we uncover, express, and set free the deeper truths of our inner most being.
Join Yashwanth on the mat LIVE from India, as he guides us through an introduction to these limbs through discussion and illustrative practices.
